Edge Lit PMMA

Edge lit PMMA provides an excellent solution to underlighting shelves and giving an even backlight to displays.

Lit using a number of end-emitting tails which fire light into the panel from the side, the first 100mm (4") or so of the panel is usually recessed or masked to hide the initial cone of light.

Versions Available

Three versions are available, all made from 10mm thick clear acrylic.

• E-Lit - can be lit 750mm (29.5") from one edge or 1500mm (59") from opposite edges.
• Prismex - with dot pattern printed on both surfaces to carry the light and give a brighter effect - can be lit 750mm (29.5") from one edge or 1500mm (59") from opposite edges.
• Polylite - with printed hexagonal pattern, can be lit 900mm (35.4") from one edge or 1800mm (70.8") from opposite edges.
