Light Bars are available in four profiles - 27mm (1.06"), 32mm (1.26"), 38mm (1.5") and 44mm (2") diameters - as shown above. Typical spacings for the fiber tails are between 50mm (2") and 100mm (4").

Light Bars can be supplied as a straight tube with the fiber tails emerging from one or both ends, or can be manufactured as part of a gantry system.

A range of mounting brackets for bars can be supplied. End caps are also available to cover the hole at the end of the bar.

Our range of Light Bars are made to order, to the sizes you specify, and come as standard in either black or white or they can be powder coated to your specified RAL color.

The UFO34D eyeball is always supplied in black, however the trumpets can be painted to a custom color to match the light bar.

Common End Connectors

Light Bars can be supplied with either standard 30mm (1.2") or mini 12.5mm (0.5") common ends. Where a mini common end is used, a 30mm adaptor is required to fit a standard illuminator.

Mini common ends allow for more than one independently removable tube to be connected to an illuminator and require a smaller hole to pass through for easier installation. A maximum of three mini common ends can be connected to one 30mm (1.2") common end.

Light Bars using 2mm (0.08") or 3mm (0.12") fiber in fittings with optional 1.5mm (0.06") or 1.8mm (0.07") points for infill with a single 30mm (1.2") mini common end and tails from one end:

When using a mini common end connector, the maximum tails per bar is ten of 3mm (0.12") fiber or 26 of 2mm (0.08") fiber. Where infill points* are used, reduce the maximum number of fittings proportionally.
