Halogen Illuminators
Halogen illuminators use lamps similar to the type used in conventional low voltage downlights. Being less energy efficient than a discharge lamp, they produce less light for a given wattage but are more compact and cooler running.
Halogen illuminators are ideally suited to small decorative systems or for cabinet and display lighting where a compact case size is required.
Most of our halogen illuminators are fitted with a fan but the lower wattage models can be supplied fanless for silent operation - sufficient ventilation should still be supplied though. Halogen lamps are inately dimmable but on higher wattage units a seperate feed to the fan is advised so that the fan does not stop.
