UFO Engineering is currently home to over £2.5 million of CAD/CAM and CNC milling and turning technology. An ongoing program of investment in state of the art manufacturing technology means that we are continually acquiring new machinery to offer new and innovative manufacturing techniques.

Our complete plant list is shown below. Items marked with * denotes large diameter chucking up to a maximum of 300mm diamater.

CNC Machine Tools

• 1 x Star SR20 R2 CNC Swiss type automatic lathe. Maximum capacity 25mm (1") diameter, magazine barfeeder.
• *2 x Colchester Tornado A90 CNC slant bed lathe. Maximum capacity 52mm (2.05") diameter, magazine barfeeder, swarf conveyer.
• *2 x Colchester Tornado 310 CNC slant bed lathe. Maximum capacity 65mm (2.56") diameter, magazine barfeeder, swarf conveyer.
• *2 x Colchester Tornado 220m CNC 3-Axis slant bed lathe. Maximum capacity 65mm (2.56") diameter, magazine barfeeder, swarf conveyer.

• *2 x Hardinge CHNC 4 Super Precision CNC flat bed lathe. Maximum capacity 38mm (1.5") diameter, pneumatic barfeeder.
• 1 x Colchester A50 CNC lathe. Magazine barfeeder and swarf conveyer.
• 1 x Milltronics VM24 vertical CNC milling center.
• 1 Haas V50 CNC milling machine.
